PROFILE OF DFT-PRESSWORK A/S

DFT-Presswork A/S is the result of a merger between the two Danish sub-supplier companies DFT and Presswork, both of which had independently established themselves as prominent players on the sub-supplier market within plate working and production of retail components and machine parts.
         
DFT represents more than 30 years of know-how within cold-forging presswork, and today it specialises in items weighing from about ten grams up to six kilos.

Presswork has a 60+ year history within pressing and deep drawing technologies and today can handle anything from 10 to 420 tonnes.

Together, we now constitute – via DFT-Presswork - a modern and effective knowledge centre within the entire spectrum of sub-supplier services. We live up to the highest quality standards and offers services within technical consultation, material know-how, production optimisation, production technologies and effective material working.

Production takes place primarily at our address in Nordborg on the Danish island of Als. There, with 11,000 square metres, 25 production lines and more than 130 skilled employees, we offer one of Northern Europe’s most effective, specialised high-tech production facilities within customer-oriented projects in series of just a few pieces and up to 15 million pieces annually.

For our established customers, we also offer outsourcing of specific projects via local and Chinese partners.
